The Explorers: Toddler Room (Age 1)

Welcome to The Explorers Room

In our toddler room, affectionately called The Explorers, we embrace the wonder and energy of this incredible age. Toddlers are naturally curious, and our classroom is designed to support their development through safe movement, rich language experiences, and meaningful relationships.

What to Expect in The Explorers Room

Active Learning & Safe Exploration

Our toddlers are always on the move! We create a secure and inviting space where children can explore freely, with developmentally appropriate activities that promote balance, coordination, and confidence.

Language & Social Growth

We use every moment to build language and communication skills. Through songs, stories, and conversations, toddlers begin to express themselves and connect with others.

Faith-Based Foundations

While not yet fully immersed in the Abeka curriculum, The Explorers classroom gently introduces Abeka toddler resources, including:

  • Bible time & simple verses

  • Visual aids & picture books

  • Fingerplays and rhymes

  • Language-rich activities

Daily Activities Include:

  • Movement and music

  • Sensory bins and fine motor play

  • Guided social interaction

  • Nap and snack times

  • Outdoor play and gross motor practice

Communication

We share daily updates with families using the ProCare app, including photos, meals, naps, diaper changes, and special moments.

Meet Our Teachers

Our toddler teachers bring patience, enthusiasm, and experience to the classroom every day. They are trained in toddler development, CPR, and positive behavior guidance.

"Toddlers are natural explorers. We just give them the space, love, and encouragement to grow."
